Research Objectives:

  • (i) Design and preparation of advanced catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction and the electro-oxidation of small organic molecules such as methanol, formic acid;
  • (ii) Discovery and characterization of electrode materials for fuel cell, Li ion batttery and supercapacitor;
  • (iii) Preparation and application of nanostructure transition metal oxides, nitrdes and carbides;
  • (iv) Preparation and characterization of proton conducting membranes for fuel cell.
